Peter Stevenson

Peter Stevenson joins Rose Legal Services with more than a decade of legal experience across prosecution, defense, and private practice. Licensed to practice in Missouri, Peter has built a career defined by versatility and strong courtroom advocacy.

Peter earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Drake University, followed by his Juris Doctor from Southern Illinois University. After law school, he established Stevenson Law, LLC, where for more than 10 years he represented clients in civil litigation, criminal defense, DWI, and personal injury cases. His work as a solo practitioner gave him a deep understanding of every stage of litigation, from client intake and discovery to jury trials and settlement negotiations.

Peter served as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in Warren County, where he handled both misdemeanor and felony cases from filing through sentencing. That role gave him valuable insight into how prosecutors approach cases — perspective that now informs his defense work. Most recently, Peter has focused his practice on DWI, traffic, and criminal defense at the Traffic Law Center and Sullivan & Associates, where he regularly appears in court and manages a busy caseload.

With a well-rounded background on both sides of the courtroom, Peter brings a balanced and strategic approach to his role at Rose Legal Services.
