Calm, thoughtful, and dedicated to public service.
Jabreia Taylor joins Rose Legal Services with a strong background in juvenile law, prosecution, and public service. She served as an attorney for the Family Court of St. Louis County, where she represented the Juvenile Officer in child protective services and delinquency matters — managing a caseload of more than 250 juveniles. Her work requires careful coordination with judges, attorneys, state agencies, and community partners to ensure fair outcomes and protect vulnerable children.
Before her role with the Family Court, Jabreia served as an Assistant County Counselor in the St. Louis County Counselor’s Office, where she handled litigation and municipal court matters. Her experience included expungements, involuntary commitment hearings, diversion programs, and prosecuting municipal offenses. Earlier in her career, she worked with HESL Legal Services, Land of Lincoln Legal Assistance Foundation, and the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office, focusing on family law, domestic violence, and juvenile matters.
Jabreia earned her Juris Doctor from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2021, where she was a Dean’s Scholar and recipient of multiple public interest fellowships and service awards. She holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Liberal Studies from Kentucky State University, where she graduated magna cum laude on a Presidential Scholarship.
Known for her calm, professional approach and her trauma-informed perspective, Jabreia brings both compassion and courtroom experience to her advocacy at Rose Legal Services.
Jabreia shares how her work in juvenile law and public service shaped her legal career, and why she’s passionate about helping clients and families work through the justice system with dignity.
