Nickolett Daniels is a criminal defense attorney with experience handling complex, high-volume caseloads and litigating cases through disposition. She currently serves as an Associate Attorney with the Missouri State Public Defender, where she manages more than 100 active cases and represents clients at every stage of the trial-court process.
Nickolett earned her Juris Doctor from Thurgood Marshall School of Law, where she was actively involved in trial advocacy and leadership roles, including serving as President of the Environmental Law Society and Lead Judge Coordinator for the Board of Advocates. She holds a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Philosophy from the University of Texas at Austin.
Before transitioning fully into criminal defense, Nickolett practiced in family law, representing clients in contested and uncontested matters, guardianships, and conservatorships. That experience sharpened her courtroom presence, negotiation skills, and ability to guide clients through emotionally challenging legal situations. Her background also includes mediation certification and extensive legal research experience.
